The GRASSify Story
In the shadows of the iconic Wimbledon Tennis Club in South West London, two brothers, Joe and Jake, set about creating an artificial grass company in London that would transform thousands of family gardens throughout the UK and across the globe.
What started as an idea to cover London’s skyline in a lush green, with beautiful gardens on balconies and roof terraces using artificial grass, quickly evolved into much more. They suddenly found themselves as the chosen artificial grass company in London for many families with children and dogs. Since then they have marked their turf in places many people wouldn’t even imagine!
Yes, it’s a GRASSified Motorhome
There was just one small problem – it was incredibly difficult to find just the right type of artificial grass. Sample after sample came in and it proved impossible to balance quality, reliability and price. After what seemed like endless searching, the brothers decided to become the artificial turf supplier that London was missing – and GRASSify was born in Southfields in 2011..
Since then (over a decade ago!) they’ve gone from strength to strength, maintaining family business morals and ethics, whilst growing their tiny two-man band into a bustling team of helpful and dedicated staff members, known in-house as “Team G”.

Nickname: Anything other than ‘Boss’
When I am not working hard at GRASSify I spend my time: Rollerblading, surfing & falling off the surfboard, litter picking with Plastic Free Seas & dog walking at various shelters.
My favourite GRASSify grass is: Eden DELUXE 36mm, I love the olive tones and density of the product. Being a practical person, I love that it’s hardy and durable but soft.
The best thing about working at GRASSify is: The awesome team I work with, they make the journey fun and worthwhile from the office days to our trips overseas as a team. I also love the wide range of clients we meet from all walks of life and watching “Team G” create beautiful spaces for them. I love that they will inevitably make great memories together on our grass, be it family, friends or a work area!

When I am not working hard at GRASSify I spend my time… football coaching, doing DIY, watching boxing and boxing in the gym also and finally cooking, however, I’ve been told to “calm down Gordon” a few times!
My favourite GRASSify grass is… Bounce Supreme 38mm, the vibrancy gives it a real spring/summer appearance and the soft fibers and dense pile makes it ideal for laying on and soaking up the sun.
The best thing about working at GRASSify is… Meeting different people from all walks of life from our clients to partners and beyond.
A bit more about Jake: He devotes spare time working with children as head coach of the Leatherhead youth football team as well as working alongside charitable community projects (surrounding football of course!). Jake’s passion for doing productive things with his time makes him well organised and very good at anything he applies himself to.
In particular, his love for sports makes him our artificial grass sports expert, he deals with all enquiries for hockey, rugby, astro, artificial 3G football pitches and artificial grass tennis courts.
Jake also enjoys travelling the world, but most of all, he loves making our family of client’s spaces look awesome using GRASSify luxury artificial grass
What do I do when I am not GRASSifying:
If I am not working, I will be found spending time with my child and wife taking nice walks in nature or traveling to visit new places, my work is physically and mentally demanding so I like to unwind with my family and friends at the weekend or public holidays.
My favourite GRASSify product:
“I would say Lounge PLUS, something about it always reminds me of sunny days and to install it’s very nice to work with and easy to join and looks great every time.
Hobbies: Terry is a keen fisherman, he loves music and walking. He is what we call salt of the earth and would help anyone in need even a stranger. We need more like him and we are glad to have him on the team.
Favourite grass: I love them all to be honest it’s a tough decision, as a wacky guy, I would probably even say a blue or yellow lawn! I remember we even installed a fuchsia pink garden once upon a time!
Nickname: The Big Bearded Kiwi
When I am not working hard at GRASSify I spend my time: exploring London and travelling. I come from New Zealand, and everything is new here, so I like seeing as much as I can. I also invite friends over on a regular basis and get the BBQ going.
My favourite GRASSify grass is: Bounce SUPREME 38mm I love the bright vibrant look to it and the soft luxurious feel.
The best thing about working at GRASSify is: No two days or gardens are ever the same, I love calling a client at the end of the job and hearing that the kids and pets were straight on it, enjoying their new space.
Hobbies: Toby works hard so when he is off, he loves to relax and go out with his friends. He loves going to the beach and making a camp fire but equally enjoys going into the mountains on a track and enjoy the countryside.
Favourite grass: Toby’s favourite grass is the Bounce PLUS because it is soft and bouncy (the clue is in the name!). He has installed a lot of this particular grass in Marbella and our clients have always been so pleased with the results he now recommends it to everyone!
As soon as we finished working he pounced on the lawn and started going at it as I stood nail biting to one side just hoping he wouldn’t ruin our work. He didn’t succeed and gave up pretty quickly and has recommended ALL of his doggy friends to GRASSify artificial grass. (He is a popular pooch!)
Favourite grass: “Between me and the cat we decided on the old classic Lounge 32mm grass as its that perfect artificial grass pile height for a back scratch!
GRASShopper is the oldest and most valued member of the GRASSify pack. He is also the most trusted member but can get a little cranky at times, especially when he’s thirsty.
GRASShopper can be relied on to get everyone for A to B in an efficient and timely manner, as long as you stroke him once in a while, GRASShopper likes to be stroked…
Hobbies: GRASShopper is not like other GRASShoppers our there… he is a little shy and prefers to stay in and watch TV with the family. His favourite past time is getting his oil changed (but who doesn’t like a bit of oil changing action once in a while!) and dislikes bugs… any kind of bug really, they make his hair look messy…
Favourite grass: GRASShopper doesn’t really have a favourite grass since he is not allowed on any… he has started to dislike grass a little bit. He was parked on grass not so long ago, and he was really comfy because it was the Lounge PLUS variety, and he loves that one, then someone came and heavy handedly moved him off the luxury artificial grass variety and it was really stressful… he doesn’t like talking about it… lets move on…
